This is a superb antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver bowl on a pedestal foot measuring 6 3/4" (17 cms) across the top x 4" (10 cms) high to the rim.
It's hallmarked for London 1856 with the silversmiths mark for Samuel Hayne & Dudley Cater.
It is gilded inside and the whole item is in excellent condition with no inscriptions or monograms.
It is decorated with birds all round and it weighs 330 grams / 10.6 troy oz which gives you an idea of the quality.
This beautiful bowl will come with a certificate of authenticity.
